    Preview (© www.letour.com):
    Hat trick for Bling?

While the cancellation of stage 3 in Mont Brouilly was frustrating for everyone, it was perhaps even more so for yellow jersey holder Michael Matthews (Orica Greenedge), who missed a chance to prove he was much more than just an over-talented sprinter. But his he is too as he proved by winning stage 2 in Commentry ahead of France's Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis). On sheer speed and on current form, the Australian will again be the leading favourite in this 195.5-km ride from Julienas to Romans-sur-Isere as the three climbs on the menu do not look hard enough to prevent a bunch sprint. Of course they will be many to hope for the trend to end and for Bling not to collect a third victory out of four stages. Bouhanni is probably the most eager to avenge past woes. His disqualification at the end of stage 2 was a hard blow and an extra motivation for a man obviously in great shape. The same cannot be said of Germans Marcel Kittel (Etixx-Quick Step) or Andre Greipel (Lotto Soudal), who were extremely discreet so far, as was Norway's Alexander Kristoff (Katusha). The ride to Romans is probably their last chance to shine before the Ventoux and the hard finale around Nice at the weekend. The stage will be a special one for Romans-born French hopeful Pierre Latour (AG2R).

Here's the BBC weather forecast for Lyon:

Doesn't look too bad, who knows what might happen on the high spots though.

Seemingly there is a chance it will snow tomorrow but altitude is not like today

Really sorry we didn't see Stage 3 climb and it wasn't snowing at the finish
That climb would have been very interesting

Bet Matthews goes for the win today again ...builds up his lead for reserve on Saturday...guess OGE are no dudes after all

Looking at Cannondale v OGE there seems ot be a massive difference in outlook & victories ...Orica seem so far ahead and its not just becasue of Matthews & Gerrans
