Thinking about a stag in Kerry. Looking for a few suggestions for non drink activities . Killarney and Dingle seem likely destinations

sure you have lots of things to do... Could go for water sports... We done that for a hen not too far passed Killarney.

Will note Killarney is a bit of a hot spot for stags and hens.

Why don't ye rent out a house pending on how many of ye are there, and use it as a base place....
What things like are ye hoping to do like a night out with dinner and non alco drinks with clubbie
Or things during the day and just chillax later

Here is what I would recommend in no order.

    1. Kayak around Dingle harbour for half a day. http://www.irishadventures.net/kayaking/activitiesseakayakingdinglecanoekerryireland.html (But if you are trying to avoid drink Dingle is not the place to go :) )
    2. Climb Carrauntoohil, sure you thought of this. It is a great day out, if you have not done it well worth it and it is not a big drama like some folks think, good stretch of the legs and good craic. You can get a taxi from Killarney to Cronins Yard/lissleban.
    3. Cahirciveen/Valentia Island, there are lots of walk, get the boat out to the Skelligs stay in the Royal Hotel, just the characters around the place are fun, curious & friendly.
    4. Lesser known and lesser done, is to go for a walk around Kells mountain, a serious amount of sites here from the crosses to pirates cave. Very unknown but amazing IMO. http://mountainviews.ie/summit/123/.
    5. There is rock climbing you can do, but I would only consider that if on a zero booze policy. Head needs to be clear and confident.
    6. Surfing on Inch beach stay in Strand Hotel (https://www.tripadvisor.ie/Hotel_Review-g983232-d6892985-Reviews-Strand_Inch_Beach-Annascaul_Dingle_Peninsula_County_Kerry.html) and get surf lessons (http://kingdomwaves.com/). This is growing in popularity for stags. You can then head on to Dingle the next day (30 min drive) and do the Kayaking #1

Feel free to PM me if you want to ask my opinion. I live in Kerry, love the place and I do not not work for the tourism board!

Two other options that may suit some

    7. You have Paint ball, a little outside Killarney.
    8. You can rent a boat and go fishing for the day from Dingle harbour. I would not recommend that because a day out on a boat can leave you exhausted.
    9. You could go to KiIlgarvan and tell the Healy Raes "Your down from Dublin to tell them what to do" and be chased around the county for a weekend!
