    Hi

If I claim for jury service from my home policy

    1) is there an excess
    2) does it effect my NCB or get registered as a claim
    3) doi need to declare it as a claim to another company if i move

    thanks

    Hi brightkane,

Thanks for your query, there is no excess for claims made for jury service, however it would effect your No Claims Bonus and these claims would have to be disclosed to other insurers.

This additional cover is something which we are currently reviewing.

    Thanks
    Una

So it's a cover that realistically cannot ever be used due to the majority of people having service of 5 days or less.?

One would imagine that damage to ncb and loading going forward would far supercede the amount claimed?
