I'm guessing, and this is purely a guess based on that log, that she has a mod installed that not working with this version.

    [20:49:11] [Thread-5/INFO]: paulscode.sound.libraries.LibraryLWJGLOpenAL.init(LibraryLWJGLOpenAL.java:164)
    [20:49:11] [Thread-5/INFO]: paulscode.sound.SoundSystem.CommandNewLibrary(SoundSystem.java:1576)
    [20:49:11] [Thread-5/INFO]: paulscode.sound.SoundSystem.CommandQueue(SoundSystem.java:2572)
    [20:49:11] [Thread-5/INFO]: paulscode.sound.CommandThread.run(CommandThread.java:121)

paulscode.sound.libraries doesn't sound like an proper package that would be in a Minecraft jar.

We have a Minecraft forum, some of the folks there might have more familiarity with it, but chris' guess makes a lot of sense.
