Suggestions

Hey, I am in the market for a new laptop and its been a while since I last shopped for one. I am on a fairly tight budget with a maximum spend of €350-400

The main function of the laptop will be photo editing and lots of microsoft office use (Excel, word, Publisher, Access and Powerpoint)

Anyone have any suggestions?

The cons are that it is a big clunky old school laptop. Not easy to carry around, and the screen is low resolution. However, it has good spec, 8GB of RAM 1TB disk and a decent i3 processor. It would be a good workhorse I reckon.

Any opinions on Dell. Used to always buy them but the longevitiy of them is crap these days?

I use a Toshiba in work, seem like reasonable computers

It depends on what Dell models your looking at, but I would still rate them as pretty good computers!
