    Physics - Lots of mechanics

  • Registered Users Posts: 118 ✭✭TooMuchWork

Done a lot over the past two days:

Economics - Fully covered oligopoly again (100% in each question w/o notes) and started revising elasticity. Seriously considering just doing micro-economics for the main exam and maybe have taxation/budgets as a backup.
History - MLK Essay A1 standard learned off. Bought a bunch of history and geography A1 essays off facebook for 20 euro. Well worth it, they're excellent.
English - Been doing a lot of Yeats. Two essays I handed up got a B1 grade. Starting Paper 1 revision now. Decided I'll do The Great Gatsby for my single text. I'll pick up a copy tomorrow and read it over the weekend.
    Geography - Physical revision.
Physics - Mechanics revision. Also looked over some likely experiments and derivations.
Maths - Did a paper 1 and a paper 2. Been using Themathstutor for stuff I get stuck on (Complex numbers mainly.)

    Now for work from 5:30 - 10!

Things are looking good for June. Aiming for around 450+, but I only need 360 for my course :) Also got accommodation in Maynooth! Anybody else get into River?

Been focusing a lot on Economics, Physics and Maths the past few days.

Got a lot of economics questions done, fully covered for elasticity, oligopoly, perfect Comp and labour if they come up.
Physics - All of electricity done. All of light done. All of nuclear done. Gonna start learning an experiment a night now.
Maths - Lots of calculus, complex nos and just paper 1 in general. Considering dropping to pass and getting an A while focusing on my other subjects.

Have a week to pretty much begin English Paper 2 from scratch. Not going to read The Great Gatsby, I don't have time. Othello and All My Sons I did last year, so I'll put them with The Kings Speech for my comparative. Let the fun begin.

-Physics is coming together nicely. I really only have the experiments, deivations and mechanics to get my head around. I'm managing grand with electricity, waves, heat etc.

-Economics is doing well, though I'll be tight for time. Hoping for 4 micro questions.

-Maths I'm not really sure if I should do HL or OL. I think I could easily get an A1 in OL, but I'm not confident in HL. Got a D2 in the mock.

-History and Geography I have my essays ready, going to begin learning the most likely ones now.

Working 30 hours over the bank holiday weekend, this will be my last full day of study until Tuesday.

The dreaded day is coming! I was working pretty much full-time since Friday so I didn't get a tap done. Made lots of money though which will be thrown into my accommodation funds!

Watched The King's Speech today, it was a great film! Also did some Yeats. Tonight/tomorrow/Thursday morning I'll focus on Durcan/TS and the comparative.

Going to start working on some paper 1 now. I think I'll focus primarily on complex numbers and banking, I'm sure themathstutor will get me up to speed with those topics.

400 overall which will do me nicely.

D1 in English which I'm very disappointed with. Definitely getting it rechecked.
    C3 in HL maths!
    C3 in history getting rechecked
    C2 in geography getting rechecked.
B3 in economics! Only started it in March!
    C3 in physics. Delighted!
