Updating iPad

    Hi,

    Not sure if i should be starting a new thread but here goes.

    I'm trying to update my mothers iPad. It's currently on ios6.1.3 and trying to go to 9.2.1.

    I'm hitting 'Install now', agreeing to the T&C's. It then goes to verifying the update and then comes up with Unable to Install update. An error occurred installing ios9.2.1

    It's telling me the the storage is almost full and go to manage storage in settings. I've gone to the storage settings and there's 10.6GB available on the iPad.

    Has anybody had this issue before or heard of it?

    You can update via iTunes on a PC/Mac instead.
