Anyone hazard a guesstimate for the demolishing and disposal of a single story, flat roofed extension. Dublin area. 5mx5m approx.

Roughly same size (if you convert metres to feet)
    - Demolish existing flat room extension 15 x 13
Quote received 5k + VAT was price I received

Thanks a mill. Did you go ahead with it?

demolition costs will vary widely as in a tender situation there are many contractors who price it very keen (have even seen it included for free) in order to win a project. As most contractors have direct laborers on salary they have the ability to keep the cost of this extremely low and therefore it varies in most tenders.

Access to the site will have a big influence on the price as well.

If you can go in and out a back gate and leave the skip in a back lane/road, it's a lot cheaper than if you have to cart everything through a terraced house to the road out the front.
