Investing in Irish Startups?

    I'd like to invest in Irish Startups. But I'm finding it hard to seek out the right entrepeneurs. Are there any events around the country for people to demo ideas/projects to investors? All I could find was www.irishinvestmentnetwork.ie and dublinbeta.com. Dublin Beta is something that does interest me but Im out of the country for the next event.

    Does anyone here have any experience with either of these or can you recommend ways of meeting people looking for investment?
