Had 3-4 lambs dying after birth... All big singles born with no problem but they become floppy and cold very quickly(1 or 2 hours) Mothers plenty if milk..When trying to warm them up seems impossible..they have heavy breathing. They die few hours later.
Dont seem to happen to twins so far..
Hate loosing big singles like that.
Any ideas what can b the cause?

First thing that springs to mind is Iodine deficiency? But I don't understand how this would only affect the singles and not doubles?

    Sickening tho... :(

    Hope you get it sorted...

Would there be more iodine in the meal as the doubles would be eating more?

Was thinking along some deficiency myself...i put in mineral buckets in the shed see if things improve.. Gave it to singles, doubles and trips.. Just in case..mayb too late and a Bit of fire brigade aproach but what else can you do??
