    Hello

I have a wood pellet stove. Model = extra flame fiamma fl45.

My question is in relation to the burn pot - 1st attachment. At the top there are 2 parts, the part that is screwed on (with the little holes) and opposite this the part that just slots on to it.....attachment 3.This cannot be screwed on even. Just kinda slots in and actually just fell off today.

My question is, is this part without the holes even needed ?

I have one of those Extra-flame stoves and the bolts burn away every three months or so, but are easily replaceable. The attachment 'flap' is needed to provide draft on starting up.
A relative also has one, the exact same model, but there's no flap on the burner pot and amazingly it works quite well without it.
    Hope that's some help.

    Thanks Dan.

This is why I love boards - someone always has an answer within minutes ; )

My bolts are still going strong anyway.

I've found that when I take away the "flap" that the stove operates better. But then I was worried that with the flap not there that it may be dangerous. I thought initially that it may have been there to stop the glass getting too hot.

It may help keep the glass clean by directing the flame in a certain manner, but as I said earlier, my relatives one works great without it.
Glad to be able to help.

Yeah. Mine seems to work better without the flap too.

Lately though it's doing my head in. Sometimes takes 5 attempts to get it lighting. The burn pot just gets full of pellets and it doesn't light and I just get error "no acc" really annoying. Have to let it shut down after flicking power switch. sometimes have to cut the power. And eventually after messing around with powering off and on and waiting etc it lights.

I got it serviced only 2 weeks ago and I keep it clean, empty ashes, use good quality dry pellets etc. etc.

IMO Your problem is the Ignitor needs replacing @ 55 / 60 euro, plus installation costs. The Ignitor is pre-programmed for 3,000 starts, so it's time may be coming to an end.
Another problem could be the water pressure, as those machines are sensitive to sudden changes in pressure.
A third could be as simple as wind direction!
Mine is hard to light if the wind is from the South.

Thanks again. Yeah the ignitor was replaced during the service.

mmmmm, don't think mine has anything to do with water pressure - it's just a stand alone pellet stove........or am I taking you up wrong.

Mine has a boiler, to heat rads.
If yours isn't, disregard my comments about water pressure.

I am getting the "no acc" error and usually works after 5 attempts. I also had a service recently. Any other ideas?

Wish most of my customers were like you. If even a light bulb blew after I doing a service, some of my customers would phone to say my service caused it and would I come around and sort it.

Give your service guy a call. He might know exactly what's wrong.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"

I get this too. It's bloody annoying.
I get the no acc, then have to empty the burn pot and start the process all over again. It's very annoying - especially in morning when you just want to heat the place up quickly.

And like you can take 5 attempts. I had mine services a few months ago and the service msn put in a new something - think it was the flame starter or something along thaws lines.

    But still acting up.
