Montpellier hotel recommendation query

Hi I will be spending 3 day in Montpellier in July - I was wondering you recommend a hotel. Will be travelling with two kids 10 & 7. I would like to centre it around kids there seems to be the grande motte area for a beach? But if anyone could recommend an area for kids not to far travel for a nice beach I would appreciate…

Hi
