dead calf

    Had a dead calf 6 weeks old last night. Would it be too late to bring her to lab on Monday morning or will just bring her to knacker and see what he finds out. I know the lab likes them ASAP.

    Should be alright for the lab, I think it's supposed to be frosty tonight as well so that'll help.

    I don't know about your lab but ours likes the vet to ring them in first rather than have the farmer just show up.

    You can't bring an animal to the lab in Sligo or Athlone without booking it through a vet beforehand AFAIK.

    Oh ya it's through vets will be talking to vet in morning and will get her advise too. Turned in calf's and cows last night and checked them at 10 before heading to bed and calf was dead and bloated. No reason I can see
