Showing our support for Conor McGregor

Wouldn't it be great if one could organise some sort of gathering at the Airport for when Conor flys back in to Dublin.
With as many people as possible to show that we support Mr mcgregor in Victory or Defeat!! He is bound to be seriously deflated after this! Just to show support for him!! Would it be possible to organise something like this?! And would many people be up for this?

I doubt that his ego will be that dented to be honest. The comeback will be bigger than ever.

    Good Lord.

I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork.

You could paint "Welcome Home Conor" on a bedsheet?

Maybe hire a juggler and a guy on a unicycle to bring some fun to the whole event?

I can't be there. I'll be washing my hair. But good luck.

I didn't even know he'd gone anywhere to come back from. Was he on his holidays or something?

Maybe you could take your anger with conor to his face?

Doubt you have the balls though. Happily slate from behind your I phone:)

Don't worry, you can just stay at home and worry about poor Johnny Sexton and gaze at Brion Ohhh Driscoll posters with fond memory....

That's the kind of thing bald fellahs say.

I don't think he spends much time in Ireland anymore. He'll have half of his income stripped for tax. Can't blame the guy.

    Anger?

I said he was a racist on another thread. I was the only person who has made suggestions for the OP here.

I do love the tone of your post though. "Yeah...well...like...he'd punch you". It's so very...deep.

I'm genuinely struggling to think of something I'd rather less do than this.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

If you're big and brave enough to slate someone online behind a phone then I'm sure you are equally brave in person?

    :)

Why in the name of god would something like that be arranged.

So what if he is seriously deflated, that what happens in sport when you lose.

Kicking the ****e out of another person is not a sport.

Kid is a menace from varied accounts.
He gets bigger (but doesn't grow up) and becomes famous for hitting people, bragging about money, his Copeland suits.
Irish people love him cos "he good and can punch and kick and stuff".
    **spoilers** he lose.
Irish people need to care for punch-hitty-man.

    pffffffffffft.

I'm going to trash talk for a week in recognition of this initiative.

Look, he was beaten. Going around saying "well he'd bate the head off you" won't change that.

Now, time to spread the love and fluffiness, what do you think of my bedspread idea?

We could have a whip round and send him on a hollier to Mexico, he could spend a week or two racially abusing them to his hearts content

Or we could have brendan gleeson organise a party for him :D

Let's get Des Cahill up on a makeshift stage, perhaps asking Conor several mind-numbingly inane questions, followed by a request for a few bars of Danny Boy, with a side order of Olé, Olé, Olé from the rain soaked crowd below.

    Every sportsman's dream.

Finally, someone else chipping in with ideas.

Will there be party poppers? Inflatable green white and orange hammers?

You have the Internet, of course you could organise it. There's surely a ufc section on this hole

Depends on the State. Texas and Nevada have 0% income tax for instance, a few others do too

OP managed to find the huge megathread so I'll lock this one.
