I have a bottle of red wine from 2004 that my sister brought me from France. She told me it was a good bottle and not to waste it. However she did not anticipate that I would hold on to it for quite so long!!!
Now she's not.sure if it was actually good enough to be a wine that matures!!

The name is Chateau de Rol.

The worst that can happen is that it won't taste great so just open it but have a backup bottle on hand in case.

Might be worth decanting it for 30 minutes before hand. It might revive it, but any longer and if it's on its last legs it could finish it off.
