I have been looking at degiro and td direct investing, degiro seems a bit dodgy but the trade prices are great with no hidden fee's, TD direct investing looks good but with my starting amount(I do plan on paying into my account regularly) 20 euro trade charge for infrequent traders and charges of 30 euro every 6 months will eat into my funds. I have read some bad things about degiro but some issues have been improved. Which would you's recommend?

Degiro is fine, no problems. Many users on this board have moved to them and not reported any issues.

I'd buy E500 worth of prize bonds rather.

Degiro is great - I've had no problems with them.

"Dodgy" in what way exactly? Moreso than AIB and BOI who are constantly caught overcharging people? Do you consider them dodgy?
