    Hi,
I'm looking for advice on polishes and waxes/sealants for polishing 2 pac paint by hand in inaccessible areas, usually use 3m polishes and compounds applied with machine.. This however is for areas to awkward for the polisher, air tanks etc on fire truck.. Also ideas on best product to polish up alluminium doors on compartment, as it's starting to get stained and whitened..
    All help greatly appreciated..

If you are using a machine, you can get small backing plates, and pads for the harder to reach areas - also extension bars are available to help reach into recessed areas that the machine would otherwise bump the surrounding areas or make it awkward to access.

If you need to it by hand, the machine polish you have already will work, on a pad or microfiber to bring back the colour - obviously you wont get correction, but at least the apperance will match with the rest of the paintwork.

If the metal work is really bad, and you have an old pad that is ready for the bin, id use that with a metal polish to help get the heavy stuff off, and then buff it up by hand.

In term of wax - if you want durability, you are better looking at sealants - Chemical Guys JetSeal109 is a good one!

PS: apologies for the delay - currently out of town! :)

No worries, thanks for reply I need to get something sorted asap, need to polish up the units for St.Paddys parades so need to get ordering as will be hard to get done in between calls as the units will stay on the run while being done!

I'll be placing an order with you tonight so! Would you recommend jetseal over likes of Collinite 845etc?

    Either are very good options.
If you are going to be using a hand polish, combo it with a sealant from the same manufacturer as they will be designed to work well together! ;)

We usually operate on a next working day delivery, but I am out of town, and brother is handling the orders - there shouldnt be too much of an issue. We have posted that in case there is anything he needs clarified as Im 8hrs in time difference so communication is difficult.
