Plasma TV flashing and ghosting

    Hi, I have a strange problem on our plasma TV when hooked up by HDMI to the Sky+HD box.

    Setup:

    LG Plasma TV (720p HD) ie -not Full HD TV
    Sky+HD
    Scart lead from SKY+HD Box to AV Input on Sony hard disk Recorder (old one) then HDMI to LG TV

    I have Flashing Picture from time to time especially when strong colours, sometimes flashing from Colour to B&W .

    When I am watching Sky News (501) I can see ghosting/interference of letters in the background scrolling horizontal across screen - video below.

    I am thinking dodgy HDMI or scart lead? - what do you reckon?
