    Hi all,

I've a gas boiler which heats both the rads and the water tank. I addition I have an emersion which is exclusively used as a "booster" if there is 't enough hot water and someone wants a shower. In 7 years since the house was renovated that's all the emersion has ever been used for but frequently it ends up being left on for days at a time which is obviously not a good idea.

Is it possible to either replace the existing controller or add something to it which would allow the emersion to be turned on for a fixed period of time e.g. 30 minutes with a single press of a button and at the end of the 30 minutes the emersion automatically switches off and stays off until someone does another "boost".

Here is a photo of the existing emersion control panel/switch
