Thermal curtain/thermal lining

    Hello,

I have an home office with three large older double glazed windows. I feel that a considerable chunk of heat is lost through these windows as they take up about 50% of the wall of the room.

Unfortunately this room has a radiator in a silly place and doesn't retain the heat much as it wasn't well insulated.

I can't go insulating it as it's rental, but would like to get some thermal curtains, there are no curtains present or some normal curtains with a extra thermal back lining.

Can anyone recommend a product or an alternative strategy - keeping heat in is my main concern.

    Many thanks

If there are no curtains there now would you consider thermal roller blinds.

I saw some thermal curtains in Home Store & More recently. I cant remember the price, but I remember thinking they were quite reasonably priced.

    Thanks for the responses.

I thought I would try a lifehack style thing first before splashing out on the the original idea.

I got a big roll of large bubble wrap for 15 bucks and am going to try that first stuck onto the glass panes, apparently it works very well.

It's only ever me in there and it doesn't look out on to a public area so I'm not bothered about the look.

I'm interested to see if it works. This sun isn't going to be around for long

Not sure if you are still looking for this but Arnotts have thermal lined curtains. Various colours, 90x90 for €50 in their basement bargain shop.
