I'd be very grateful if you guys had any advice for me. I got a 4K tv this morning, hooked it up, looks great. Put the sky box in and like it looks great, but the movement is weird, I don't know if that makes sense. Don't know if this is a known problem, and if so how do I sort it? Cheers.

Depending on the model, it might be that it has motion control jacked up.

You should google the model of the tv for calibration settings that suit.

    What make/model is it?

    Its a Samsung UE40JU6000KXXU.

Try the following: (NOTE: These are subjective and every panel has different calibration, but these should be a good starting point):

    Picture Mode Movie
    Backlight 8-12
    contrast 95
    brightness 45
    sharpness 0
    colour 50
    picture size screen fit

    Advanced settings
    Dynamic contrast off
    black tone off
    flesh tone 0
    colour native
    White Balance (Leave alone)

    Picture options
    colour tone warm 2
    digital clean view off
    mpeg noise filter off
    hdmi black level low
    motion plus Off or Clear

These are roughly what I use on my HU8500 model. You can pay a professional calibrator to do a proper calibration, but I find these settings work fine for me. You can tinker around with them yourself to suit. The motion issues you describe would most likely be cause by "Motion Plus".
