Next question, I think its called bed and breakfast. Can I sell shares at a loss now and buy them back in 5 weeks time and still use that loss to offset tax? Can i still carry this loss forward even though i have bought back the shares?

Is there any idiots guide online to help manage shares - applicable taxes, forms, do you need to declare if under the allowance?
