Word & Excel Files on a Flashdrive

    What app do I need in order to view word & excel files from a flashdrive on my cheap android phone.

    Will plugging the flashdrive into a usb to mico usb reducer and then into the phone work fine.

    Emailing them to yourself would be easiest, some mail programs have a viewer built in.

    I sent it to gmail, but after downloading it, it can't be opened, sent it to Google drive and still can't be opened.

    It is a password protected file though.

    WPS office and PDF from the play store will do it according to the Googles!
