Fitting Campag EPS or Di2 to mechanical frame

    I'm considering buying Campag EPS but the three road bikes I have are all designed for mechanical groupsets.

    I was wondering if anyone had tried converting a frame to take electronic gearing or if anyone had fitted the wires externally.

    The three frame materials are carbon, titanium and aluminum and I'm not convinved that I want to start drilling holes in them.

    I won't be moving from campagnolo and it might be a while before they go wireless!

    Another option would be to find a cheap EPS compatible frame.

    As a matter of interest, did you swap out the full groupset or just the levers and mechs? I noticed the levers/mechs only as a for purchase option on a website but no availability date listed yet.

    Also, how are you finding the system, are you happy with it and how is battery life/recharge thing working for you?

    Haven't got anything yet, just solved the which electronic group set to retrofit to my frame.

    I'll be getting the upgrade option and cassette and chainrings I think. I've to get an 11 speed hub too.
