Wow far from bargain ! more like a rip-off & even bigger rip-off. Tesco selling 6 x 500ml for 1.35 and expect lidl/aldi would be as competitive there. Is there something else special about the m&s version?

    There must be.

M&S staff definitely made mistake, the bottle of water is 1.40 in Cafe, due to hight tax rate for hospitality, and 0.95 cent for same bottle of water in Food hall,

A multipack still water for 1.40 at M&S , which includes 6 bottles of sport cap 500ml water

Actually, bottled water can be much worse than tap water.

It a few years now since I studied water treatment and distribution but I remember at the time it was highlighted that the public supply was required to meet a higher standard than bottled water. I also remember that any water that could be labelled mineral water was marginally better.
I would never pay for bottled water.
Its actually quite fully. There are many people buying bottles daily at day 1 euro each - 365 euro per year for 365 litres. I'd say a fair number of these same people are out protesting about household water charges.

No, I bought it myself and the staff told me.

The staff in the food hall told me it should have been €1.40 and it scanned at €1.40 but the price on the display said .90c. They said the bottles shouldn't have been in the food hall. That they were for the cafeteria and were .90c there.
