Micro usb port replacement part.

    Ok so I have a Chinese Umi Iron.
    I have to say I really like this phone.
    However I have a problem with the micro usb port.
    It will intermittently charge and basically isn't reliable. With a magnifying glass you can see a couple of pins bent twisted or broken. So a new Port needs to be soldered in.
    Anyway I brought the phone into my local repair shop and he said he wouldn't repair it because he didn't know which type of micro usb port my phone used. He said that there are lots of different types with subtle differences.
    He did however say that if I got him the correct part that he would solder it in for me.
    I searched online but couldn't find anything parts wise for this phone.
    Is it really true that there are that many types of micro usb port?
    Does anyone know where I can get one?
    Any ideas?
