I have finished up a tenancy everything has been handed over and agreed (in writing) that there are no issues and deposit is to be refunded. That was exactly 2 weeks/10 working days ago and no money has been returned.

We let via an agent who say they take deposit and give to landlord and landlord returns deposit. Never dealt landlord directly only with agent. Agent are saying they have passed on the info and are waiting on him to.

So whats reasonable to wait for the return and whats the next step if still nothing?

Usually a week is normal. That lets the landlord do an inspection and ensure there's no bills unpaid, etc. However, if the agent has already done this and instructed the landlord to return the deposit, I would send a letter to the landlord asking for return of the deposit within a week. If there's still no joy, open a PRTB dispute.
