    Hey all
Have a 2001 focus, when I parked today I went to press the door lock button on key, and nothing happened. The button has gone soft and squishy, and doesn't click. The button to open doors and boot both work.

Any ideas on what I could possibly do to fix? I've opened key, can't see anything obvious...

    Moved to DIY subforum.

Do you hear anything rattling around inside?

Can you crack the key open on those? Possible breakage on the pcb/switch?

I've got it as far as this, but I don't think I can take it apart any further without damaging it...
