I was talking to a customer today

He was an absolute bore and would not shut up after about half an hour my mind started to wander, as it does from time to time.

I was wondering what people find "more rude" in social settings
    1. Having a good root around the nose or
    2. Having a good scratch of the genitals

I was tempted to ask the customer, but thought better of it.

A scratch is grand. Scratch n sniff is a different story.

Let me take this opportunity to invite you boys to explain the appeal of having a root around in your genital area.

Ladies tend not to do it (or at least keep it for the privacy of our own bedrooms ;)). Are you itchy? Need to let the air circulate? Relieve numbness?

Seriously, please explain, 'cause by all appearances you find it a very satisfying pastime.

Because balls sometimes get stuck to thighs.

See, that makes sense now! I vote that rooting around in your crotch is less offensive. But only if you don't mind the women readjusting their bras and hoicking up their tights every so often.

Sure why would we mind that? Watching boobs bounce is one of my favourite past times.

That's normally cause the stupid underwires are digging in, or the straps have fallen down. Bras are very poorly designed really.

Did you want to scratch your nose and balls or the customers?

From the dross the customer was going on about, I dont think he had genitals,

    He was a county Councillor.

Scratching your genitals with your nose would have been the way to go.

You should have roundhouse kicked him in the chops.

    That'd quieten him. ;)
