where would best place be to sell the contents of a garage, years of mechanic tools, ladders, chainsaws, power tools ,hand tools..

want to sell in one lot preferably, maybe a stall holder or something, selling for mum in law, would need a van and boxes to take/pack it all,

stumped as to where to try sell it,breaking it down is the last option as it would be messy and she dont want that, she just wants rid of the whole lot.

a lot of quality stuff mixed with some cheaper stuff, most of main stuff is quality

Maybe a detailed listing on eBay with lots of pictures. Very hard to get any sort of value for it in a job lot, you could separate out the 5 most valuable items and done deal them.

Donedeal or Adverts.ie would be good too. I'd be interested in seeing what you are selling, any change of a few pic's or a list of items?

Personally id be slow on using ebay to sell anything in ireland. my reasoning is in my experience not many people in ireland sell on ebay, anytime i go looking for stuff it all seems to be english sellers willing to post to ireland.
Done deal the bigger more valuable stuff and use adverts as well.

Your right...but if the item is under 10KG and not huge parcel motel works out very reasonable to post to the UK(15€)...just make sure you say in your listing that you will post to the UK, and put your address down as Northern Ireland as thats essentially where you would be shipping from if you go this route. Much more convenient than going to post office too.
