    Hope that helps

Maintenance/Fee Grant Application – have you ticked the SUSI box?
If you wish to apply for a grant you should indicate this on your CAO online application by logging in to the 'My Application' facility and ticking the grant indicator for SUSI. CAO will then provide your identification and contact details to the grant authority (SUSI) in March.
Applicants who have selected the SUSI box will then receive communication from SUSI about the grant application process, including the opening date for 2014/2015 applications when announced by the Department of Education and Skills.
At the Offer/Acceptance stage, Applicants who have selected SUSI on their application will have their acceptance details automatically sent by CAO to SUSI, which may speed up the grant payment process for eligible Applicants.
It is important to note, however, that other than providing these details to the grant authority, CAO plays no role in processing grant applications.
All new student Maintenance/Fee Grant applications will be made online to SUSI (Student Universal Support Ireland) through their website at www.susi.ie (see also www.studentfinance.ie).
See www.studentfinance.ie and www.susi.ie for information on grants. Applicants who wish to apply for a Maintenance/Fee Grant should first check their eligibility at www.studentfinance.ie.
