Would anyone know how long you'd be waiting to get varicose veins done (publicly)

My father lived for nearly 30 years with what he thought were varicose veins because thats what his GP told him he had. Special socks and all that malarkey and anytime he brought them up again he was basically told to suck it up by the GP.

Switched GP a few years ago. Dr diagnosed a particular type of chronic bacterial infection that affects veins. Put him on a special antibiotic. Veins invisible and painless and back to normal ever since after 30 bloody years of misdiagnosis. He said he could have killed her.

Point is. Do you definitely have varicose veins?
