Seen a bear in the woods in California and the fúcker was huge. Also got chased by a raccoon. They're also huge and vicious AF up close.

So many to choose from, as I spent years abroad studying them.

Birds of Paradise in New Guinea. Giant Anteaters in Argentina. Pygmy chameleons in Zimbabwe. Emperor Penguins in Antarctica.

Love seeing any animal in wild but favourite was baby rhino in Dublin Zoo about two years ago. Made this really cute squeaking noise and was as if he was trying to communicate with us. Adorable

Saw a couple of young brown bears in Vancouver that were great fun - I have a slight fascination with bears anyway.

Also the cheeky kea birds in New Zealand, who were performing their party trick of destroying the camper vans that were parked up. Little thugs :)

Was just out for turf there and I met a whitrit coming dandering down the yard like he owned the place. Looked at me as if to say where do you think you're going boy and jumped the fence and gone. Cute wee bucks, but pretty savage too if you have ducks or hens.

I love to see them about. Great for keeping the rabbit numbers bearable.

Aye, rarely see them around here now. See plenty of their cousins though, the minks, they're a whole other kettle of furry fish.

    A blue whale

Truly glorious creature, so majestic, so large, peaceful , a reminder of how extraordinary life can be on Earth.

nothing spectacular while out foreign , but i like to appreciate our own . Have seen whales breeching a couple of times near hook head , was reliably informed they were hump back ; have seen dolphins and porpoise regularly every year , but the most rare was a pine martin , was sitting at a level crossing and he came rambling out of ditch not a care in world ,even had time for photo's , scampered off when train came . Must see if i can find them .
