    Hi,

I just got my new multimaster and fitted the sanding disc attachment, after a couple of minutes of just messing around with it I removed ten disc and the bolt that goes through to the head was very hot and I noticed that on the sand in head some metal was chewed up and the same on the head of the machine. Is this normal. Thanks.

    I would say yes,
Id be surprised if there was anything wrong with it, they're a great machine.

If you don't fully seat the attachment in the slots, there can be some play which will lead to movement/heat and damage to the star slots on the attachment.

When you lock the attachment in place, make sure there's no play.

Mine has never done this, as said, make sure the attachment is seated correctly and the bolt is tight and you have used the correct washer.

Mine must be older then. Good to know there's a new version if
    I'm re-ordering attachments, thanks.
