marriage not registered in GRO

    Why would a wedding that took place in Rathmines RC in 1862, which appears on the Irish Genealogy site and which in turn is linked back to the parish registers not be registered with the GRO?

    There were no RC marriages registered until April 1864. Only non-Catholic from 1845.
