Does anybody know what it would cost to trim 5 donkeys hooves ? I was told it would take less than an hour for all. Thanks

The Equestrian forum might be your best bet for prices- http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=996

It would take a bit more than 12 minutes per animal (3 mins per hoof!) if you are to include loading into a crate!

Does the farrier bring anything like a pairing crush like they have for cattle horse stocks etc or do you just tie them up with a head collor
The reason I ask is we have a yearling that wasn't done before and don't know how quite she would stay if you lifted her back leg
Might get kicked into next week.

I pay €25 to have my horse's hooves dressed (trimmed/pared/filed)

Depends if they are used to being handled and how long since they were last done. To do a good job it would be 20 mins per donkey
