Scratch removal from black plastic trim

    Anyone got any tips on how best to remove scratches from unpainted black plastic trim? Heard stories about using a heat gun but don't have access to one.

    Just spotted a similar thread below, not much can be done seemingly.

    A heat gun will rejuvenate faded trim but won't fix scratches.
    Is the surface textured or smooth? If smooth you might be able to do a touch up.

    It's very slightly textured

    You can try sand and repaint it. You's never recreate the texture but id it's smooth you have more options.
