Accessing broadband with UPC wall socket

We just moved in to an apartment with has a UPC wall socket already installed. We want to order broadband (and probably TV too). Does having this socket mean that we can order broadband/TV through any of the broadband/TV providers without having to pay an installation charge?

By the way we also do not want to have to go into a 12/18 month contract if possible.

The UPC point only works with Virgin. Nobody else.

If you don't want a contract your only option is Magnet (Which uses your phone line) and will charge you €50 in installation fees due to being contractless.

    Thanks Ed, One question:

Magnet is broadband only. Isn't there other broadband only providers? Such as digiweb.ie.

If you want TV you're getting at least a 12mo contract. No way around that.

Then you can chose Virgin, Vodafone, Eir or Sky.
