Cycling in the UK and insurance

    Hi all,

Looking for a bit of advice here. Myself and a mate are planning to do a cycle in the UK later in the year (July). Trip will consist of a few days cycling starting in London and finishing in Holyhead to catch the ferry home.

    So my query is:

Is there any cover provided with my CI insurance when I am cycling abroad?
If so, is it still advisable to take out regular travel insurance (with cycling included as an activity)?
If not, I will then be going for some form of travel insurance...
For such insurance can anyone recommend a particular firm/package to opt for?

    Thanks in advance...
