    Hi everyone,
Im looking for advice and help on natural slates for my own roof, its a new build,

I am looking for a slate that sits down very well on the roof and with very little grading if any,
as the new build is in a very very high windy area, i will also be nailing and using the hooks to insure this,
Also i would like the slate to be as black in colour as possible,
any feed back would be great
    Many thanks

    Hi¡¡

I´ve just finished my new roof using CUPA Campo slates and could not be happier with the result.

I got the slates through CAPCO (01895 1700), as far as I know they are the only distributor for CUPA PIZARRAS in Ireland.

    Hope this helps.

We put Spanish slates on our new build 15 years ago. Very even, very few breakage, good black colour. Half the price of Welsh at the time.
