Generally most have a reset button that will restore the factory defaults when pushed in (with a pin) for over 10 seconds. On MiFi units, the reset pin-hole is usually under the battery cover. As you got the Three modem in a Three shop, it should have the correct settings even after a factory reset, although I would recommend putting a password back on.

Is it displaying any webpage at all? Normally when one runs out of credit on Three, it will display an "Out of credit" webpage for any website URL typed in the browser.

If you can't get logged into the router, try placing the SIM in a phone to rule out a faulty router. This way you can check that it is connecting to a 3G or 4G network and whether the SIM itself works, i.e. try calling your house or mobile #. A three broadband SIM will work in a phone, but any SMS and calls made (that are answered) will be charged at their 'Out of bundle' rates.

its showing a "profile invalid page"

    does that mean anything

That seems to indicate that it's got the wrong APN setting configured.

Some routers auto-update the APN and I've once had a similar issue on Meteor where my router automatically set its APN to 'isp.mymeteor.ie' instead of 'broadband.mymeteor.ie'.

On Three, their APN is '3internet.ie' for a phone SIM and '3internet' for a mobile broadband SIM.

I would suggest doing a factory reset if you can't get hold of the router password.
