Spending Money for a week in Iceland?

I am going to Iceland for a week during the summer and I have the flights/hotel and day tours paid for. However I haven't budgeted for the taxis/bus to and from airport/hotel, food, gifts or emergency money. I don't plan to go mad spending things, so for anyone who has spent time there, how much euros should I convert into ISK? Thanks in advance.

    I'd say €250 a day.

Credit cards are very popular, so you don't really need a lot of cash.

Assuming you're arriving at Keflavik and going to Reykjavik, I'd suggest checking the price of taxi/shuttle/bus in advance as it's quite a long way.
