Does your retest have to be the centre where it failed? And is there much of a delay in getting a slot?

You can retest at any centre, you do need an appointment to retest, (within 28 days), you can always look for a cancellation.

If its a visual no booking required then just catch a tester driving out in a car that's just been tested.

Call the nct for retest as they hold some back for this. If it's light it might require a light test which is not visual as they need machine unless stated on fail it's only visual retest

It's a dip beam so has to be tested for focus,, as I say working the day before, Murphy's law indeed
