Hi, I'm looking into courses for after secondary school, I know I would really like to be an actuary as I love maths/problem solving and statistics, but I know the qualification exams are extremely challenging with a low pass rate. Would it be wiser to do a specific degree in actuarial science and try my hand at getting as many exemptions as possible (but therefore having no back-up careerwise) or doing a course like computer science in tcd and then completing all the actuarial exams after with no exemptions?

Thanks for any help in advance!
