Probate - CA24 form

    Once probate has been granted is it possible to get a copy of CA 24 form from executor?

    You can apply to the Probate Office for a copy once the Grant has issued. The fee is €15.

    Are you certain that this can still be done?

    I thought that they changed the rules on this a number of years ago and that you can only take up a copy of the Will and Grant.

    Yes, I'm certain. Once the Grant has issued then the Will, the Grant and the CA24 are public documents and anyone can apply to the Probate Office for a copy.

    Extract from www.courts.ie :

    Records Office fees (search & copy document fees):
    Search fee for each search made - €10.00
    Search fee for each search made through the post - €15.00
    Official copy grant - €10.00
    Official copy will - €10.00
    Sealed and certified copy grant - €15.00
    Sealed and certified copy will - €15.00
    Sealed and certified copy will and grant - €20.00
    Schedule of assets (a breakdown of the deceased's estate) - €15.00
    Official copy renunciation form, oath and bond etc. per page - €6.50
    Official copy other documents (unproved wills etc.) - €10.00
