My Carbon seat post slowly sinks into the tube ad I ride along. I've heard that hairspray can cure this. How exactly ? Do I just spray it on and then assemble it or do I have to leave it a while? I'm follically challenged so hairspray is alien to me. ( so are Carbon seat posts..)

    Try some fibre grip.

I'm well aware of over tightening carbon parts so I'll look into that recommendation.
    Cheers

If you have a LBS that you use regularly (or bought the bike from), they should give you some fibre grip or similar. I was given a sachet when I bought my last bike.
