What's the weirdest/stupidest reason you've been in the dog house?

My father's genuinely annoyed at me right now for donating my hair to charity. Because he'd rather add it to the collection of hair he has in the house (long story, but not as weird as it probably sounds).

A few years ago my friend called over for the evening, I ordered food for us while she was on the way over. I would have eaten my own arm I was that hungry. Doorbell rings and I leg it to answer it, visions of pizza dancing in my head. My face absolutely drops when I see it's my friend and I say 'Ah FCUK I thought you were the food', and she was annoyed for the whole night.

My 5 year old had a dream and in the dream I did something bad. He was bulling with me when he woke up.

It's cute when a kid does it. My ex-wife was forever waking up p*ssed off with me for something Dream AnonoBoy had done.

Ex girlfriend did the same to me, didn't speak to me for the whole day and wouldn't tell me why because she knew how ridiculous it would sound

I can't imagine how that could be weird.

I don't care what the reaction is to this, because ive seen enough personal evidence to believe it is true.

Some women will entirely on their own mull over a scenario about something that is on their mind or currently at issue, that you as their partner is entirely unaware of, and that in the outcome of that internal debate, the fantasy version of you may do something which they are not happy about at all, and they will hold it against the real you, leaving you both confused and oblivious.

Girls, if you get the hump with a chap, please do it over something that actually happened in the real world

He's an artist, works in textiles (weaving, sewing, etc), when my siblings and I were small kids he landed on the idea of saving our hair to make an artpiece of it somehow. But now we're all in our twenties and he still hasn't got around to it, so there's just bags of hair in the house and a strop any time one of us gets a haircut and refuses to ask the hairdresser 'eh, could I bring that home for my dad please'

You can donate your hair to charities that make wigs for chemo patients and people with alopecia, human hair wigs are seriously expensive. Has to be over a certain length and there are a few other criteria. You can also sell it, as I understand that usually ends up being used for African American ladies.

.my niece donated her hair last year to make a wig for kids with cancer....
Considering she was only 6 and her hair had only just grown back long after her own bout with cancer it was a big deal ...

Artist or serial-killer? Because hoarding hair really sounds like the behaviour of the latter to me.

    Can't he be both?

There can be a lot of overlap in certain behaviours, IME :pac:

If the house is ever raided he really will have a lot of explaining to do. Pretty sure he still has all our baby teeth as well....
