The track ones are on Paddy's day in Sundrive. I think DIT are organising it. Having recently returned to college I am hoping to make it out.

The track event requires you to complete one accreditation session and one training session after that. As far as I know, to be eligible you have to attend the accreditation session on 5th of March, and the training on the 12th of March so the coaches there can sign off on you.

CI are not issuing 1 day licences for track events, so if you don't yet have a full/limited competition licence, it could end up costing quite a lot of money to enter.

As for a road intervarsity event, it's hoped that one can be held at the beginning of the new academic year when 1 day licences will become available again.

The last time I attended intervarsities our college insurance covered us once you were in the college club, this applied to DIT, ITT, UCD and TCD.

Cheaper than CI although this would only apply to the road rather than track as you still need the accreditation.
