Restore from Google Backup - I'm stumped!

    Hi folks,

    work colleague just took delivery of a S5 Neo (upgrading from S3mini). Popped in new SIM. Fired it up. Added google account. Syncing message comes up. Looks like its going through the motions. Once finished, nothing there, Apps, contacts, etc dont transfer to new phone.

    Other phone is still active on wifi network here. Under Accounts / Google - both phones have identical 'last synced at (time&date)'.

    Suggestions ? Am I missing something simple ?

    EDIT: Just used smart switch app on both handsets over wifi. Job done !
