New boiler cost

    what would i expect to pay for a new boiler set up in my nice new house? i se the grant available but is it worth getting the better boiler with grant which would cost more, or a cheaper boiler without the grant. thing is you need to have them fitted by approved ppl in order to get the grant bt i have an uncle plumber who could surly do it for nothing

    Your plumber uncle needs to be RGI Registered in order to do the boiler. Remember that not all plumbers can work on gas and not all plumbers can plumb your bathroom!

    About €1600 for a new boiler supplied, fitted, tested and certified. Nobody will risk their lives cheating the system with gas boilers after the plumber in Cork was prosecuted last year over the same thing.
